Excitement was intense at Coxhoe on Sunday, when Walter Salisbury, giving start, met Jack Simpson, received nearly two miles start as he moved off from the ‘Hare and Greyhounds’, Bowburn.  Salibury, who has had much walking experience, won by 5 minutes.
